My thoughts on wallpaper: Go all out, or not at all. I particularly love rooms that the wallpaper wraps the ceiling as well. As far as scale when you're doing an entire room you can go small and ditsy with the pattern for an all over backdrop, or big and bold for a strong focal point! I also love grasscloth, it can add a beautiful texture to a room.

I recently met a client at her newly purchased home, the upstairs guest bedroom is screaming for a paper floor-to-ceiling. Dealing with a slanted ceiling with no breaking point can be tricky, I think this is the perfect solution!

This month Architectural Digest featured a 5,500 sq ft property completed by Miles Redd in Lyford Cay for a Houston based couple and their daughters. This is one of my favorite homes completed by Redd to date! My absolute favorite part of the spread (besides looking at the photographs!) was something that the client said, “We absolutely trust his taste and talent, so we just gave him a budget and told him to make it special. That’s exactly what he did.” I could not imagine hearing these words, it's a designers dream!
